PRIDE SET TO PLAY CHARGERS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women’s lacrosse team will take on Colby-Sawyer College Saturday (April. 2). The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 1-5 and is 0-3 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Chargers enter the contest with an overall record of 3-3 and are 2-0 in TCCC play.

The Pride is led by Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic) who is the current leader in points. Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose) will look to improve on her offensive totals against the Chargers.

The Pride’s defense is led by Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College). Ryan is the team’s leader in saves on the season tallying 47 so far. The Pride will look to find its groove as it enters the second part of the season.

The Chargers are led by Brittney Murphy (Woburn, Mass. / Woburn) who currently has a team high of 26 goals and nine assists. Laurel Bauer (Bradford, N.H. / Tilton) is a secondary scoring threat for the Chargers tallying 17 goals and two assists on the season.

The game is to be held at Regis College and is set to start at 12:00 p.m.
