BUSIEK,CREVIER,AND CHOZ SCORE IN PRIDE LOSS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team was defeated Saturday (Mar. 26) by New England College. The final score of the contest was 18-3. The Pride moves to 1-5 overall on the season and 0-3 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. The Pilgrims move to 2-1 on the season and are 1-1 in TCCC play.

The Pride was led by Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic ), Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose) and Melissa Choz (Leicester, Mass./Leicester) who each tallied single goals in the game.

On the Defensive side of the ball the Pride was led by Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College). Ryan had a game high of 10 saves with six of the 10 coming in the first half. The Pride's defense played better in the second half by only allowing the Pilgrims to score six points.

The Pilgrims were led by Amanda Kennedy (Tewksbury, Mass.)  who netted a game-high four goals, while Emily Kuchta chipped in two goals and had an assist. Picking up the win in goal for the Pilgrims was Caroline Doherty (Miller Place, N.Y.) who recorded 2 saves. 

The Pilgrims return to action on Tuesday (Mar. 29) when they travel to take on Curry College.  Regis will travel to take on conference opponent University of New England Tuesday (Mar. 29).
