PRIDE TO PLAY GOLDEN BEARS  AND PILGRIMS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women’s lacrosse team is set to play two games this week. The Pride will first take on Western New England College Wednesday (Mar. 23). The Pride enters the game with an overall record of 1-3 and is 0-1 in The Commonwealth Conference play.  The Golden Bears enter the contest with an overall record of 2-3. 

Following Wednesdays match the Pride will play Saturday (Mar. 26) to take on the Pilgrims from New England College. The Pilgrims are currently 1-1 overall on the season and have yet to play a TCCC game.

The Pride will be led by Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic) and Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose ) who are the teams leading scorers. Franli Bensosme (Lawrence, Mass./Essex Agricultural and Tech) and Tana Presutti-Dicenso (Framingham, Mass./Marian) have played well in the past few games and will look to increase their scoring presence.

The Pride’s defense is led by goal keeper Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College). Ryan has played well keeping opposing shooters under their scoring averages.

Both games are away games for the Pride who will play its next home contest on Saturday (April 2) against Colby-Sawyer College.
