PRIDE SET TO TAKE ON MUSTANGS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's lacrosse team is set to take on Mount Ida College Monday (Mar. 21) The Pride enters the contest with a record of 1-2, while the visiting Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 1-2.

The Pride is led by Teresa Busiek (Arlington, Mass./Arlington Catholic). Busiek is the teams leader in points with twelve on the season.  Teresa Crevier (Milford, Mass./Montrose) is the secondary scorer for the Pride tallying six goals on the season. Franli Benscome (Lawrence, Mass./Essex Agricultural and Tech) will look to contribute on offense for the Pride.
 
The Pride is led on defense by the strong goal tending efforts of Meghan Ryan (Stow, Mass./Iona College) who has tallied 32 saves on the season.  Andrea Barbosa (Taunton, Mass./Taunton) and Kristen Amicangioli (Belmont, Mass./Arlington Catholic) will look to lead the Pride's defense.
The Mustangs are led by Jen Thompson (Easton, Maryland/Easton HS) and Danielle Chuba (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington Regional).  Thompson and Chuba are the team's main scorers.  Rebecca Tisbert (Cambridge, Vermont/Lamoille Union HS) will look to be an offensive threat for the Mustangs with her strong shooting skills.
The Mustangs are led in net by Katherine Chousa (Norwood, MA/Norwood High School). Chousa has played well in net this season and will look to continue her save percentage.
The game will be played at the Regis College Athletic Facility and is set for a 7:00 p.m. start.
