Rainville Garners CollegeSwimming Weekly Honor

WESTON, Mass. – Regis (Mass.) men's swimmer Nick Rainville (Reading, Mass.) has been voted as the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) representative on the CollegeSwimming.com weekly honor roll. This comes after NEISDA named him its Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season.

In all, Rainville won all four of his individual events for the at the GNAC Championships; the 100 free, 50, 100 and 200 fly. He set GNAC records in the 100 free, 100 fly, and 50 fly and a school record in the 100 free with a time of 46.72. He also led off the winning 200 freestyle relay with a 21:27, which was also a GNAC record. 

Prior to his swimming career at Regis, Rainville swam for Reading High School in his hometown of Reading, Mass.  

Rainville and the Regis Pride return to the pool on January 13th at Simmons with Colby Sawyer.
