Full GNAC Release

WINTHROP, Mass. - Regis (Mass.) men's swimming & diving senior Nick Rainville (Reading, Mass.) and freshman Grant Kollien (Acton, Mass.) have been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Men's Athlete and Rookie of the Week, respectively. The announcement came from the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Rainville won a pair of events at this week’s New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association Championships, taking top honors in both the 100-fly (50.91) and 100-free (46.54). His 100 free win was a Regis (Mass.) program record. It is the fifth time this season that Rainville has been named GNAC Men's Athlete of the Week.

Also at the NEISDA Championships, Kollien placed fifth in the 400-medley relay (3:48.78) and fourth in the 1650-freestyle (17:20.86). This is the fourth time in 2017-18 that Kollien has won Rookie of the Week.

On the women's side, senior Jessica Higgins (Peabody, Mass.) concluded her career with a spot on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll for her performance at the NEISDA Championships.
