The Regis (Mass.) swimming and diving team culminated the 2017-18 campaign this past Saturday night with its annual season ending banquet.
Player awards were handed out during the celebratory evening along with recognition for the outgoing seniors and assistant coach Marissa Minor who will be completing her graduate assistantship position this spring.
The Pride had much to celebrate after both the men’s and women’s teams placed second at the GNAC Championships this past December. Both teams also delivered historical performances at February’s NEISDA Championships. The women placed ninth, only the fourth top 10 finish in program history, while the men had its third highest finish ever (6th). In total, four school records were broken by both teams combined.
The 2018-19 captains were also selected with Katherine Mariano and Sarah Leonard heading up the women’s team and Josh Unas the men’s squad.
