WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior Cassidy Bastianelli (Newton, Mass.) has been named this week's Great Northeast Athletic Conference Corvias Swimmer of the Week while teammate Joshua Unas (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named the Rookie of the Week it was announced on Monday Afternoon. Bastianelli and Unas helped lead the Pride to 114-111 victory against Bridgewater State University on Saturday.

Bastianelli was part of the 200 yard medley relay squad that finished first in the event with a time of 1:43.59. He also took home first place in two individual events as he won the 200 yard freestyle (1:49.94) and the 100 yard freestyle (49.90).

Unas was part of the 200 yard medley relay squad who crossed the finish line first in 1:43.59. He also finished in first place in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.99 and placed second in the 100 yard butterfly (56.58).

The Regis College Swimming & Diving team returns to the pool this weekend as they travel to Gordon on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. meet.
