New Coaches Part of Regis Athletics Staff

WESTON, Mass. - Regis College has hired several new assistant coaches to start in the 2023-24 academic year, including in the sports of men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, and men's and women's track and field.

Carissa Bradford joins the Regis College men's and women's volleyball program as an assistant coach starting in the 2023-24 academic year. Bradford was a Division I volleyball student-athlete for four years, starting her collegiate career at the University of the Pacific in 2019.

After spending the 2020-21 season at Tennessee, she transferred to South Alabama where she played her final two seasons. In 2021, she led her team with 344 kills, featuring a span of six straight matches with 10 or more kills. During the 2022 season, Bradford collected 66 kills and 19 total blocks, including an 11-kill, three-block performance at Southern Mississippi Sept. 23, 2022. Originally from Porter Ranch, Calif., Bradford received her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of South Alabama in the spring of 2023.

Elizabeth Cameron joins the Regis cross country and track & field program as an assistant coach. Cameron was a member of the Emmanuel College cross country and track & field teams throughout her collegiate career. During the 2021 cross country season, she finished in the top 10 four times, including an eighth place finish at the GNAC Cross Country Championships that earned her Second Team All-GNAC honors, plus she was named team MVP. As a senior in 2022, Cameron became the first Emmanuel competitor since 2017 to win an individual meet.

As a member of the track and field team, she helped the Saints win the GNAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship in 2020 as well as the GNAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship in 2022 and 2023. A GNAC All-Academic honoree, Cameron received her bachelor's degree in economics from Emmanuel College in 2023.

Edgar Rosa joins the Regis College track and field program as an assistant coach specializing in the throwing events. Rosa threw the javelin at both Rowan College of South Jersey, winning the NJCAA National Championship in 2019, and Rowan University, qualifying for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships three straight years (2021, 2022, 2023). He finished 10th at the 2021 Championships, 11th at the 2022 Championships, and fifth at the 2023 Championships with a mark of 63.78 meters (209' 3") to earn USTFCCCA All-America honors.

His career-best mark of 64.98 meters (213' 2") occurred at the Oscar Moore Invitational, a home meet for Rowan, on April 8, 2023. He is also a two-time All-NJAC competitor after finishing second at both the 2022 and 2023 conference championships. Originally from Gibbstown, N.J., Rosa graduated from Rowan in 2023 with his bachelor's degree in law and justice.

Regis College is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) within NCAA Division III, currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
