Regis Cross Country Sees Full Slate of Competition in 2019

2019 REGIS COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's and women's cross country teams will see several familiar courses during the 2019 campaign, as the Pride are scheduled to compete in eight meets this upcoming season.

The Pride will start the year with a quick trip to Nehoiden Golf Course for the Wellesley Invitational, hosted by the Wellesley College Blue Friday evening, Aug. 30. Regis will also compete the following weekend at the Endicott Invitational at Bradley Palmer State Park in Essex County Saturday, Sept. 7.

After a weekend without competition, Regis heads to Dartmouth, Mass., for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational Saturday, Sept. 21. The Pride will have another weekend off before starting a stretch of three meets on three consecutive Saturdays with the Keene State Invitational in Keene, N.H., Oct. 5.

Regis makes its first trip to Standish, Maine, this season for the Runnin' Monks Invitational, hosted by Saint Joseph's College Saturday, Oct. 12. The Pride then return to Franklin Park in Boston Saturday, Oct. 19, for the Suffolk Invitational.

The Pride head back to Saint Joseph's College in Standish, Maine, for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships Saturday, Nov. 2. For the third straight year, the state of Maine hosts the NCAA New England Division III Regional Championships, with Bowdoin College serving as host site for the second consecutive time, holding the event in Brunswick, Maine Saturday, Nov. 16.

Kourtney Bonsey enters her fourth year as head coach of the Regis men's and women's cross country teams and is joined by first-year assistant coach Ben Colello. In 2018, both the Pride men's and women's squads finished fifth in their respective races at the GNAC Championships.
