WESTON, Mass. - Regis College lost to Colby-Sawyer College, 9-0, Saturday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's collegiate tennis dual match at the Regis Tennis Courts.
Before the match, senior Harmony Lopez (Carlsbad, N.M.) was honored by her teammates and head coach Pamela Swords for her years of service to the Pride tennis program. During her contest at number one singles, she battled Payton Dugan before losing in straight sets (6-3, 6-1).
Regis College (0-6, 0-3 GNAC) is scheduled to face Albertus Magnus College next Saturday, Oct. 5, to close out the regular season. Colby-Sawyer College (5-1, 3-0 GNAC) will travel to face Springfield College Wednesday, Oct. 2, starting at 3:30 p.m.
