REGIS TENNIS MAKES STRIDES FOR BREAST CANCER

WESTON, Mass. – 22 players and coaches from the Regis men's and women's tennis teams participated in the six mile Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in Boston on Sunday, October 5th.

Joining 40,000 walkers, the teams walked up the Boston side of the Charles River from the Hatch Shell to the BU Bridge and then down the Cambridge side crossing back over on the Longfellow Bridge.

The weather was clear and sunny as the tennis teams joined a contingent of Regis students numbering around 140 strong. Fellow Regis student athletes included members of men's and women's volleyball teams, soccer and lacrosse.

Regis tennis players and coaches raised a total of $600 to benefit breast cancer research. All agreed it was a fun and rewarding experience!
