WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Jessie Lord (Fall River, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference women's tennis Player of the Week, it was announced Monday morning.

Lord helped lead the Pride to an 8-1 win over Mitchell College on Saturday afternoon. Lord teamed with Jewel Medeiros (Rochester, Mass.) for an 8-4 win in No. 1 doubles, then added a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. On the year, Lord is 4-2 (3-1, NECC) in singles and holds the same record in doubles play.

The Pride return to action tonight and hope to keep their 20 game conference win streak intact when they host conference foe Becker College at the Regis Courts. Game-time is set for 5:00 p.m.
