WOMEN'S TENNIS HOSTS 4TH ANNUAL REGIS PRIDE INVITATIONAL

WESTON, Mass. - The women's tennis team held the fourth annual Regis Pride Women's Invitational this past weekend on the campus of Regis and the Weston High School tennis courts.

The Pride had a successful showing in the tournament, with co-captains Kendall Kolb (Plymouth, Mass.) and Jewel Medeiros (Rochester, Mass.) placing second in the B doubles flight. The pair narrowly lost in the final by one point in a tiebreak.

Medeiros then went on to win her singles flight, as did freshman Jessie Lord (Pittsfield, Mass.). Kolb and Erica Murphy (Portsmouth, N.H.) came in second place in their respective singles flights.

This also marked the fourth and final time that senior men's tennis player Andy White (Bozeman, Mont.) has been the Tournament Director. He dealt with checking teams in, handled last minute changes in the draws, put matches out, and kept track of all the scores. The tournament was successful much thanks to his hard work.
