REGIS AND CLARK SUSPENDED DUE TO RAIN

WESTON, Mass. - The women's tennis match between Regis College and Clark University on Saturday afternoon was suspended due to rain following doubles play. No makeup date has been announced.

The Pride had built an early 4-0 lead on the Cougars before rain halted the match. Jewel Medeiros (Rochester, Mass.) and Jessie Lord (Fall River, Mass.) were victorious at No. 1 doubles with a 9-8 (7-2) victory, while Emily Rice (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Erica Murphy (Portsmouth, N.H.) added an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.

Clark only traveled with five players, leading to forfeits at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles and two points for the Pride.

Regis returns to action on April 9 when the Pride hosts Salem State University at 4:30 p.m.
