WESTON, Mass.- Regis College women's tennis player Elora Granados (Chillicothe, Texas) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week this week, it was announced by the conference offices on Monday morning. Granados posted wins in her first two collegiate matches for the Pride (0-5).

Granados posted her first win at Regis at number one singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Eastern Nazarene's Elise Sleeper (Sanford, Maine) in a 7-2 setback to the Lions last Monday. Later in the week, Granados rallied back from an early deficit to grab a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Lesley University's Michelle Side (Miller Place, N.Y.) in number one singles as well.
