KENDALL KOLB COMMITS TO PLAY WOMEN'S TENNIS

Weston, Mass--The Regis College women’s tennis team welcomes Kendall Kolb (Plymouth, Mass./Plymouth) to the 2011 squad.

Kendall brings over ten years of playing experience to the Pride.  Kendall has competed for the Eel River Beach Club and Plymouth North High School for the past four seasons. Kolb helped her team win the Atlantic Coast League conference in her junior year.

 “Kendall is a solid player that has a lot of experience against high levels of competition.” stated Coach Ciarleglio. “ I am very pleased that she has committed to play for Regis in the fall.”

In addition to tennis, Kolb danced at the Boston Ballet from ages 2 to 15.  She has always been extremely active, singing in chorus from the sixth grade through high school.  Kolb participated in student government by holding various offices in high school.  Kolb competed in two varsity sport at Plymouth High, playing both field hockey and tennis.

This past year year she did an internship working in a classroom and also volunteered at West Elementary School in Plymouth.  This cemented her desire to become a teacher. She will be majoring in Elementary Education at Regis College.
