CAITLIN FITZGERALD AND MOUHAMED DIALLO NAMED TENNIS ACADEMIC ALL AMERICANS

Weston, Mass.--- The Regis College Athletic Department announced Tuesday (Oct. 12) that the Intercollegiate Tennis Association designated Regis College tennis team members Mouhamed Diallo (Boston, Mass. /Cours Sainte Marie de Hann) and Caitlin Fitzgerald (Lynn, Mass. /St. Mary's-Lynn) as Academic All-Americans.

 To qualify for Academic All-American Honors you must retain a grade point average of a 3.5 or higher for the two semesters in the academic year.  This award is given to student athletes that excel on the court and in the classroom. The ITA is the governing body of men’s and women’s tennis for NCAA Division I, II, and III.  The ITA sanctions championship selection and season awards for teams and athletes that compete under its guidelines.
