PRIDE SET TO PLAY SEAHAWKS

Weston, Mass. ---The Regis College women's tennis team will play Salve Regina University Tuesday (Oct. 5) at the Regis College Athletic fields. The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 1-9 and is 1-8 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Seahawks enter the contest with an overall record of 7-2 and are 7-2 in TCCC play.

In singles the Pride will look for a solid performance from junior Mary Jane Barron (Whitinsville, Mass. /Holy Name) Freshman Paige Pasley (Dorchester, Mass. /Fontbonne Academy) played a long singles match against Colby Sawyer earlier this week and hopes to continue with this strong effort.

In doubles, Kunjan Patel (Waltham, Mass. /Waltham) and Paige Pasley look to continue with a strong performance. Alexandria Kuchera (Waltham, Mass. /Waltham) and Barron will look to step up for the Pride in doubles.

The Seahawks are led in singles by Valerie Leso (West Warwick, R.I. /Wawick) and Erin Phillips (Morristown, N.J. /Morristown) who both have the record of 6-2.  In doubles the Seahawks are led by the duo of Ana Gwozdz (Taunton, Mass. / Taunton) and Erin Phillips.

The match is set to start at 3:30 pm and will be played at Regis College Athletic fields
