Weston, Mass.---The Regis College women's tennis team is set to take on Nichols College Saturday (Sept. 25) at 11:00 am.  The Pride enters the contest with a record of 1-6 overall and 1-5 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.  The Bison enter the contest with an overall record of 7-1 and 6-0 in the TCCC.

Leading the Pride are Mary Jane Barron (Whitinsville, Mass./ Holy Name)  and Teanna Montoya  (Oak Bluffs, Mass./Martha's Vineyard regional) both have played well this season battling back in some long matches. In doubles freshmen Kunjan Patel (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) and Paige Pasley (Dorchester, Mass. Fontbonne Academy)  continue to improve on their doubles play.

Leading the Bison are sophomore Alexandra Cifone (Bristol, Conn. / Bristol Eastern) and freshman Anna Dyakiv (Amsterdam, N.Y. / Amsterdam) who both are undefeated in singles play this season with a record of 7-0.  The only team loss for the Bison came against Wesleyan University earlier this season by the score of 3-6.

The games will be played at Nichols College and the game time is set for 11:00 am.
