WOMEN'S TENNIS STRUGGLES AGAINST ENDICOTT

Beverly, Mass.  – The Endicott women’s tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over visiting Regis College in their season debut on Saturday afternoon.  Kate Cioffi (Essex, Vt.) was one of five Gulls (1-0, 1-0 TCCC) to earn a pair of wins in the The Commonwealth Coast Conference match.  
 
Cioffi, who won 6-0, 6-1 at number one singles, also teamed with Laura MacLeod (Mashpee, Mass.) to earn an 8-1 win at number one doubles.  Emily Annis (Hampton, N.H.) earned a straight set (6-1, 6-0) win at number two singles, then teamed with Kerri Dunn (Middleton, Mass.), a straight set winner herself, to win 8-1 at number two doubles.  
 
Gina Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.) joined Kristen DiFillippo (Lynnfield, Mass.) for an 8-4 win at number three doubles. DiFillippo did not drop a game in the victory at number five singles.  
 
Sophomore Ashley Sullivan (Concord, N.H.) also cruised to a win (6-1, 6-0) in number six singles.  
 
Next week, the Gulls play host to TCCC foe Nichols on September 7th while Regis continues conference play with matchup against Gordon on the same day.
