Marina Kelly joined the Regis women's soccer program as an assistant coach starting in the 2019-20 academic year.

A native of Whitman, Mass., Kelly played both soccer and basketball throughout her collegiate career, starting with her freshman year at UMass Boston. In 2014, she earned Second Team All-LEC (Little East) honors in soccer after leading the league with 11 assists to go along with nine goals for 29 total points. She also appeared in 10 games for the Beacon basketball team. Kelly transferred to Clarion University, a Division II school located in Pennsylvania, and appeared in 52 matches, including 50 starts, for the Clarion soccer team from 2015 to 2017. She earned nine goals and seven assists for the Golden Eagles. For the Clarion basketball team, she appeared in 47 games, including 12 starts, earning 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game from 2015 to 2018.

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social studies from Clarion University in 2018. A substitute teacher in 2018-19, she also was the junior varsity girls’ soccer coach at Scituate High School and the freshmen girls’ basketball coach at Whitman-Hanson High School. In addition, she served as the head coach of the U10 and U17 teams within Mass City FC.
