Chicopee, Mass. – The Regis College women's soccer team defeated Elms College, 1-0 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference match on Saturday.
Regis scored the game's only goal in the 64th minute when Isa Mullen (Chandler, Ariz.) gained possession in the box and sent a shot into the back of the net for her first career collegiate goal.
Cassidy Van Cott (Santa Monica, Calif.) started in net for Regis and made two saves off two shots on goal. Angela Picheo played the entire game as goalie for Elms and made four saves off five shots on goal. The Pride outshot the Blazers, 11-6, and created six corner kick opportunities.
The Pride is set to travel to Lasell University for their next match on Wednesday, Oct. 18, starting at 3:30 p.m.
