WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's soccer team notched their first Great Northeast Athletic Conference win of the season Wednesday with a 3-0 victory over New England College at Regis Stadium.

The Pride started off the first half strong, dominating in the offensive zone. Just a little over a minute into the match, Olivia Dench (Center Moriches, N.Y.) made her way into the box after a thru ball from Samantha Perkins (Whitman, Mass.) and found the back of the net for her second goal of the season.

In the 14th minute, with the offensive momentum still in Regis' favor, Colleen Curran (Woburn, Mass.) blasted a shot into the net for the second Pride goal of the game. Just four minutes into the second half, the Pride jumped into action again with a goal by Meadow Comeiro (Woburn, Mass.) off a crossing pass from Avary Hall (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.).

Regis continued to apply offensive pressure throughout the match, finishing with a 25-4 shot advantage. Perkins, Comeiro, and Hall had two shots on goal apiece, while Maeve Glavin (Norwood, Mass.) took three shots on goal.

Cristina Nazario (Isla Verde, Puerto Rico) started in goal for the Pride and did not need to make a save in the first half before Cassidy Van Cott (Santa Monica, Calif.) took over and had one save in the second half. Hollie Bomba had 10 saves for the Pilgrims, while her defense helped her with two team saves.
