Women's Soccer Hosts Blood Drive This Friday

WESTON, Mass. - Regis (Mass.) women's soccer teams up with the American Red Cross this Friday, Feb. 17 for a blood drive held at the student center on the Regis campus.

The Pride invites all members of the Regis, Weston and neighboring communities to donate from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

"This is a great opportunity for our team to show how important it is to donate blood," said Regis head coach Mike Webber. "It's a great way for the student-athletes to give back."

14,000 pints of blood are needed every day to meet the needs of patients at approximately 2,600 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country.

Donors can schedule an appointment by contacting assistant women's soccer coach Maggie Crowe at maggie.crowe@regiscollege.edu or 781-768-7059.
