PRIDE FALL TO NATIONALLY-RANKED BRANDEIS

WALTHAM, Mass. - Regis College suffered a 4-0 setback to #25 Brandeis University on a rainy Thursday afternoon in Waltham, Mass. The Pride fall to 0-2-1 on the year, while the Judges improve to 4-0-0.

Rachel Gagnon (Ashford, Conn.) faced 35 shots on the day, making 11 saves in the defeat. It was Gagnon's second-straight game stopping 11 shots.

Erin Loehner (Danvers, Mass.) registered the lone shot of the game for Regis, who returns to action on Saturday night when they travel to Framingham State University for a 7:00 p.m. contest.

The Judges' Cidney Moscovitch opened the scoring in the game in the sixth minute of the contest, but the Pride defense kept Brandeis off the board for the rest of the first period. Lea McDaniel scored early in the second half to put Brandeis on top 2-0, before Sasha Sunday and Haliana Burhans rounded out the scoring with goals later in the half.
