WESTON, Mass. - For the sixth consecutive time and tenth overall, the Regis College women's soccer team has earned a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 academic year.
According to the NSCAA, "to qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible." Regis posted a team GPA of 3.24 and was one of 583 women's programs (DI, DII, & DIII) across the country to achieve the honor.
The Pride recently wrapped up an 11-6-2 season that included their fourth-straight trip to the NECC postseason, and third-straight NECC Semifinals appearance.
