PRIDE EARN NSCAA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

WESTON, Mass. - For the fifth consecutive time and ninth overall, the Regis College women's soccer team has earned a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2012-13 academic year. 

According to the NSCAA, "to qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible." Regis posted a team GPA of 3.04 and was one of 593 women's programs (DI, DII, & DIII) across the country to achieve the honor. 

The Pride recently wrapped up a 10-7-2 season which was highlighted by a trip to the NECC Semifinals for the second straight year.
