JOSEPH SCORES NECC WEEKLY HONOR

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College junior Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women's soccer it was announced on Monday afternoon. Joseph helped lead the Pride (4-5-2, 1-1-1 NECC) to a pair of wins last week.

On Tuesday, she scored the game-winning goal in the 50th minute of a 1-0 win over Thomas. On Saturday, the junior forward scored on a penalty kick to help the Pride close out Mitchell, 3-0 for their first NECC win of the season.

The season, Joseph leads the Pride in both goals (4) and points (9), and ranks fourth in the NECC in goals and ninth in points. Her nine points this season rank her third all time in career points for the Pride.

Adena Joseph and the Regis College women's soccer team return to action on Monday afternoon when the Pride travel to Daniel Webster College for an NECC contest at 4:00 p.m.
