WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) has been named the women's soccer New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference offices on Monday morning. Joseph led the Pride to their first win of the season in 2012 this past weekend.

On Saturday afternoon at Thomas College, Joseph scored the lone goal for the Pride (1-0) in a 1-0 victory over the Terriers. Joseph received a pass into the box from classmate Jasmin Vivar (Attleboro, Mass.) and promptly netted the game-winner in the 64th minute of action.

Adena Joseph and the Pride return to action on Thursday afternoon when the Crimson and Gold host New England College in a non-conference matchup at 4:00 p.m.
