SIROIS NETS PAIR IN 2-0 WIN OVER EAGLES

NASHUA, N.H.Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass.) netted goals in the first and second half to guide Regis College past host Daniel Webster College, 2-0, in a New England Collegiate Conference women's soccer matchup Wednesday afternoon at Eagle Field. Sirois' sixth and seventh of the season, coming in the eighth and 49th minutes, respectively, clinched a post-season berth for the Pride (8-7, 4-5 NECC).

Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass.) made 14 saves for the host Eagles (0-12-1, 0-7-1 NECC) in their home finale.

Regis controlled the tempo throughout, finishing with a 16-2 shots-on-goal advantage. Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass.) and Kristen Abreu (Woburn, Mass.) picked up single assists.

Michaela Yebba (Wakefield, Mass.) finished with two saves for the Pride.

Regis awaits their NECC quarterfinal opponent to be determined this Saturday. The Pride open post-season play on Tuesday, November 1st. Daniel Webster closes out its season on Saturday at Elms in an NECC matchup beginning at 4:30 p.m.
