PRIDE TO PLAY LEOPARDS

Weston, Mass. ---The Regis College women's soccer team is set to take on Wentworth Institute Saturday (Oct. 2) at the Regis College Athletic Fields.  The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 3-7 and is 0-5 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.  The Visiting Leopards enter the contest with an overall record of 2-7-1 and are 1-4-1 in TCCC play. 

Leading the Pride on offense is Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass. /Oliver Ames) who has registered two goals and an assist for the Pride this season. Freshman Tess McLean (West Roxbury, Mass. /Mount Alvernia) looks to continue with a strong offensive performance. On defense the Pride is led by goal keeper Beth Frye (Adams, Mass. /Hoosac Valley) who has 37 saves on the season for the Pride.

The Leopards are led on offense by Lucy Brown (Plainville, Conn. /Plainville) who leads the team in points with three goals and four assists. The Leopard's defense is led by sophomore goalkeeper Jess Gardner (Wilbraham, Mass. /Minnechaug Regional) who has registered 70 saves on the season.

The game is set to start at 1:00 pm and will be held at the Regis College Athletic Fields.
