PRIDE READY FOR VISITING EAGLES

Weston, Mass.---The  Regis College women's  soccer team is set to play Daniel Webster College Monday  (Sept. 27)  at the Regis College Athletic Fields.  The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 2-6 and are coming off a 2-0 win over Wheelock College earlier this week. The visiting Eagles enter the contest with a record of 1-3-1, with their last game being a loss to Rivier College earlier this month.

On offense the Pride will look to set the tone of the game early. Freshman striker Samantha Correia (Berlin, Mass./Berlin) will look to contribute with increased shots on goal. On defense goalkeeper Bethany Frye (Adams, Mass. /Hoosac Valley) looks to continue with a strong performance between the pipes for the Pride. Freshman Tess McLean (West Roxbury, Mass. /Mount Alvernia) and sophomore Michelle Sirois (Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) will play into the Pride's offense as well.

For the Eagles, junior Theresa DiSantis (Hinsdale, Mass. /St. Joseph's) leads the offense in goals and assists with three points on the season.  On defense the Eagles are led by junior Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass./Tahanto) who has started all five games for the eagles.

The game is being played at the Regis College Athletic  Fields and will start at 4:00 pm.
