WOMEN'S SOCCER RELEASES 2010 SCHEDULE

Weston, Mass.—Regis College women’s soccer will host 10 of its 19 games as stated in its regular season schedule that was released by the athletics department this week. Regis will kick-off the season at Lyndon State (Sept. 1), and host defending conference champion Endicott on October 9.

Seven of the Pride’s home match-ups will be against The Commonwealth Coast Conference starting with Gordon (Sept. 11). Its other six home game conference match-ups will be against the University of New England (Sept. 18), Western New England (Sept. 29), Wentworth (Oct. 2), Endicott (Oct. 9), Curry (Oct. 16), and Eastern Nazarene (Oct. 19).

Endicott made its way to the NCAA Championship, but lost 1-0 to Messiah. Regis will host Wentworth during its annual homecoming activities beginning with a pep rally on September 28.

The Pride will travel to six TCCC opponents beginning with New England College (Sept. 21), and end the regular season against Roger Williams (Oct. 27). Its four other match-ups will be versus Salve Regina (Sept. 25), Anna Maria (Oct. 5), Nichols (Oct. 13), and Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 23).

The Pride will take the field under first-year head coach Liz Conant. Conant was an assistant coach in 2009, and joined the program as a full-time member in June. She also coaches the women’s lacrosse team.
