Leicester, Mass.-Becker got two goals from Alexandra Fernandes (Tucson, Ariz.), as the Hawks defeated Regis College 3-0 in women's soccer action.
The Hawks jumped on the board at 12:26 of the first half, when Alexandra Fernandes drove a pass from Alyssa Alves (Acushnet, Mass) into the net for a 1-0 advantage. Fernandes added her second goal of the game five minutes later, making the score 2-0.
The Hawks put the game out of reach in the 67th minute when Vanessa Laureano (Dracut, Mass) scored her first collegiate goal.
Bethany Frye (Adams, Mass) and Ashley Hibbard (Middleboro, Mass) combined for 11 saves in the loss. The Pride fell to 0-3-1 on the season.
Shannon Tibbetts (Warren, Mass) made two saves, to earn her 3rd straight shutout for the Hawks. Becker improved to 4-1 on the season.
