SAM CORREIA TO JOIN WOMEN'S SOCCER PROGRAM

Weston, Mass.—Regis College women’s soccer coach, Liz Conant, recently announced the addition of Sam Correia (Hudson, Mass./Hudson) as an incoming recruit for the Pride women’s soccer program.

Correia has been playing soccer for more than seven years, and prior to her senior year at Hudson led her Central Bay States team to the championships. Her exceptional playing earned her a spot on the junior varsity team as an eighth grader, and was awarded the team’s most valuable player at seasons end.

Entering her freshman year for the Hawks Correia earned a spot on the varsity team. In her junior year she was named Central Massachusetts All-Star, and recognized as a league all-star.

An injury in her senior season sidelined Correia with just four games remaining. However, she was named team captain throughout the season, and honored as a league all-star considering the injury.

At Regis College Correia intends to major in early childhood education.
