CREVIER SCORES OPENING SEASON GOAL FOR PRIDE

Weston, Mass.—Rachel Robichaud (Billerica, Mass.) posted a game-high five goals as she helped lead Curry College (4-1, 1-0 TCCC) to a 26-1 defeat of Regis College (0-1, 0-1 TCCC) Saturday. Regis was elevated to varsity status after having competed at the club level in 2009.

Robichaud also had two assists in the game. The Colonels had 12 different scorers in the game. Ashley Hansbury (Chelmsford, Mass.), Carissa Lauyer (Bloomsburry, NJ), Elissa Bulgatz (Chicago, Ill.), and Jessie Koffman (Andover, Mass.) contributed three goals each.

Hansbury also had a game-high seven assists; Lauyer and Robichaud added two each. Nicole Sullivan (Medford, Mass.), Kim Heintzelman (Marietta, Ga.), and Ana Bottary (Hull, Mass.) each had one.

As a team Curry had a 32 shots in the game, and had 21 ground balls to Regis’ 12. Regis managed just one goal, made by Terese Crevier (Milford, Mass.).

Both teams will play conference opponents Wednesday, March 24. Curry will travel to Western New England College. Regis will travel to Anna Maria College.
