Men’s Cross Country Competes in New England Regionals

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Regis College men's cross country team wrapped up their season on Saturday, participating in the NCAA New England Regional Championships hosted by Bowdoin.

JJ Pedersen (Milford, Conn.) led the Pride, finishing in the top 100 of the crowded field with a time of 26:36.94, a personal best for an 8k race. Christian Hendricks (Edgewater, Md.) finished next for Regis with a personal record of his own, completing the course in 28:50.43.

AJ Corso (Broad Brook, Conn.) completed his freshman cross country campaign with a personal best of 29:13.07, while Nicholas Sahagian (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) finished the course in 30:00.29. Michael Carroll (Lynn, Mass.) finished next for the Pride in 31:22.23, followed by Noah Ryan (Stockton, Calif.) in 31:35.57.

Regis finished the meet in 40th place, compiling a total of 1163 points. With the conclusion of the cross country season, most members of the team will turn their attention to the upcoming track and field seasons.
