WESTON, Mass. – Regis College Men's Volleyball bounced back with a dominant 3-set sweep against American International College on Tuesday. The victory moved the Pride to 14-8, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 2-15.
- Five players for the Pride registered five or more kills, with Brandon Valdes (Miami, Fla.) leading the team with 14 kills, followed by Jalen Watt (South Hadley, Mass.) with 11. Eddie Djatcha (Lowell, Mass.) and John Nangle (Lowell, Mass.) each recorded 10 kills. Francesco Buanne (Caserta, Italy) contributed eight kills.
- Tyrell Bucasas (Waialua, Hawaii) finished with 47 assists.
Regis vs. AIC
- The teams exchanged the lead in the first set until two consecutive kills from the Yellow Jackets gave them a two-point advantage at 12-10. Both teams ramped up their offense, with Regis making a comeback at 23-23. However, AIC scored two quick points to take a 25-23 first-set victory.
- After trailing 9-3, the Pride went on an 8-3 run, closing the gap to 12-11, before taking a two-point lead at 16-14 thanks to an attack error by AIC. Regis extended its offense to secure a 25-21 win in set two.
- Both teams traded points to an even 10-10 in the third set, but the Pride surged to a five-point lead at 21-16 and finished with a 25-21 victory.
- In the final set, both teams stayed within two points of each other before a kill from Garcia Quiros cut the Yellow Jackets' deficit to one point at 23-24. However, a service error gave Regis a 25-23 victory to clinch the match.

- Bucasas' 47-assist performance against AIC marks his fifth game this season with 35 or more assists and sets a new record for the most assists in a four-set match.

With an overall hitting percentage of .446, Regis set a new record for the highest team hitting percentage in a four-set match.
