WINTHROP, Mass. - Regis (Mass.) senior Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Third Team All-Conference. The announcement came from the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Krahl appeared in each of the Pride's 25 matches this season, leading the team with 200 kills, 30 service aces, and 48 blocks. His highlight of the season was in a 3-1 win over Dean College on Feb. 14, in which he recorded 15 kills, six service aces, and five blocks. He recorded a season-high with 18 digs kills three days later in a loss to Eastern Nazarene on Feb. 17.

Freshman setter Sebastian Valdes (Diamond Bar, Calif.) was also recognized by the conference on Tuesday, as he represented the Pride on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team.

Wentworth received three of the four major awards, led by GNAC Offensive Player of the Year Collin Ritter. Craig Kolek from Rivier was named GNAC Coach of the Year after leading the Raiders to a conference championship.
