Bisnett Earns All-ECAC Second Team Honors

DANBURY, Conn. - Four days removed from being named the New England Collegiate Conference Men's Volleyball Player of the Year, Regis (Mass.) senior Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) has been named to the All-ECAC North Region Second Team. It is the first time in the history of men's volleyball at Regis that a player received a postseason award from the ECAC.

Bisnett completed the career sweep of the NECC major awards this week by adding a conference Player of the Year award to his trophy case. He previously won the Rookie of the Year award as a freshman in 2014, and Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2016. Bisnett's Player of the Year Award made him only the third player across all sports in Regis history to win three major NECC awards.

Bisnett led the NECC with a Regis program record 321 kills in 2017, ranking third in the conference with a hitting percentage of .304 on the season. He graduates this year as the program's all time leader in matches played (102), kills (936) and digs (660). He was a one-time NECC and ECAC Player of the Week during his senior season, and last weekend earned a spot on the NECC All-Tournament Team with an 18-kill, 8-dig performance in a semifinal loss to Elms.
