ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Senior Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) was named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Year Monday, highlighting a list of five players from the Pride that received All-Conference honors. Bisnett earned a spot on the First Team All-NECC, along with teammate and 2016 Player of the Year Brett Krahl (Santa Clarita, Calif.). Sophomore Drew Beimel (Redondo Beach, Calif.) and senior Joe Hanrahan (Coventry, R.I.) claimed spots on the Second Team All-Conference, while freshman Jayson Vega (Ponce, Puerto Rico) represents the Pride on the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Bisnett's honor completes his tri-fecta, as he completes his collegiate career winning each of the NECC's major individual awards. He won the Rookie of the Year award as a freshman in 2014, Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2016, and now Player of the Year this season. Bisnett joins Michael Beluch and Jessie Lord of the men's and women's tennis programs as the only players in Regis history to win three major NECC awards. Beluch won Player of the Year every year from 2012 through 2015, including Rookie of the Year as a freshman, while Lord has won the last three NECC Player of the Year awards.

Bisnett led the NECC with a Regis program record 321 kills in 2017, ranking third in the conference with a hitting percentage of .304 on the season. He graduates this year as the program's all time leader in matches played (102), kills (936) and digs (660).

Krahl was the NECC's leader in hitting percentage in 2017 with a staggering mark of .432, which ranked him in the top ten nationally. Krahl entered the season already holding the program's all-time attack percentage record at .276, which jumped to .329 after this season. Krahl also ranked second in the conference in blocks in 2017 with an average of 0.78 blocks per set this season.

Hanrahan earned Second Team All-Conference honors after leading the conference in assists per set from the setter position. Hanrahan average 10.00 assists per set on the year, compiling a Regis record 870 assists in his 28 matches played. Hanrahan became the first player in program history to dish out 2,000 assists earlier this month, and finishes his career with the Pride with 2,121 over four seasons.

Beimel receives his first All-Conference selection this year after a strong all-around season on both sides of the ball. The sophomore finished the season ranking second on the team with 57 total blocks, third with 115 digs and fourth with 152 kills.

The conference's Defensive Player of the Year went to Audrye Alejandro of Elms, while Rookie of the Year went to Endicott's Bryn Lipton and Coach of the Year to Endicott's George B. Chapell Jr.
