BISNETT GRABS FIFTH NECC WEEKLY HONOR

WESTON, Mass. – Regis College men's volleyball player Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season, the league announced on Monday morning. Bisnett helped lead Regis to a 2-1 mark in conference play this week.

Bisnett had 12 kills, three aces, and six blocks in a 3-0 sweep of Lesley on Tuesday. The freshman outside hitter then had another 12 kills, three aces, and four digs in the Pride's 3-1 setback to Endicott on Wednesday. In his final game of the week, the rookie had 20 kills, two aces, 12 digs, and three blocks in a 3-2 win over Newbury on Saturday afternoon. Bisnett averaged 3.67 kills per set with a .330 hitting percentage and 1.83 digs per set during the week.

Bisnett and the rest of the Pride (9-8, 3-4 NECC) return to action tonight at Lesley, where they will take on the Lynx at 8 p.m.
