BISNETT EARNS NECC WEEKLY HONOR

WESTON, Mass. – For the third time this season, Regis College freshman Sean Bisnett (Oxnard, Calif.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week in men's volleyball, it was announced on Monday morning. Bisnett helped lead the Pride (6-5) to a 1-1 mark in last week's games.

Bisnett had 26 kills, 12 digs, two service aces, and three total blocks, while maintaining a .267 hitting percentage in the two matches. Bisnett had a team-high 12 kills to go along with two digs and one service ace, with a .476 swinging percentage, in a setback to Wentworth on Thursday. The rookie outside hitter followed that up with match-highs of 14 kills and ten digs, as well as one assist, one service ace, and three block assists, in the Pride's 3-1 win over Anna Maria on Saturday afternoon.

This season, Bisnett currently leads the Pride in kills (114) and digs (63), while being second on the team in hitting percentage (.305) and service aces (6), and ranking fourth in blocks (9).

Bisnett and the Regis College men's volleyball team return to action on Wednesday night as the Pride travels to Daniel Webster College for an NECC matchup at 7:00 p.m.
