PRIDE SET FOR ENGINEERS

Weston, Mass.--The Regis College men’s volleyball team is set to take on MIT Wednesday (Mar. 16) at 7:00 p.m. The Pride enters the contest with an overall record of 0-14 and are 0-11 in New England Collegiate Volleyball Association play.The Engineers enter the contest with an overall record of 25-6 and are 13-1 in NECVA play.

The Pride is led by junior Andrew Carroll (Natick, Mass./Natick) who is the main ball distributor on offense. Carroll leads the team in assists per game with 3.07 and 138 total assists on the season. Senior James Guaragna (Quincy, Mass./Brighton) leads the team in digs per game with 1.98 and total digs with 83 on the season. Drew Wilder (Brockton, Mass./ Brockton) will look to add to his kill total. Wilder currently has 39 kills on the season.

The Engineers are led by Matt Hohenberger (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis University) who has a team high in kills with 248 on the season.  Tim Lee (Natick, Mass./Natick) will look to set the Engineer offense up for kills. Lee currently leads the team in assists with 919 so far this season. The Engineers will look to Caine Jette (Haiku, Hawaii/Maui) to provide defense in the backcourt.  Jette is second on the team in digs with 138 on the season.

The Game will be held at the MIT Athletic Center and is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start
