PRIDE TO PLAY NIGHTHAWKS

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s volleyball team will take on Newbury College Thursday (Mar.3) at 7:00 p.m.  The Pride enters the match with an overall record of 0-13 and is 0-4 in the New England Collegiate Volleyball Association play. The Nighthawks enter the contest with an overall record of (14-9) and are (6-2) in NECVA play.

The Pride is led by James Guaragna (Quincy, Mass./Brighton) and Andrew Carroll (Natick, Mass./Natick) who have been instrumental in setting the Pride’s hitters up for kills this season. Dan Berdichevsky (Wayland, Mass./ Wayland) leads the Pride in kills with 45 on the season and will look to improve on his kill total through the rest of the season.  Christopher Tran will look to help the Pride out with his solid serving abilities.

The Nighthawks are led by Max Daley (Cranston, R.I./Cranston) who has a team high of 199 kills on the season. Matt Talamantes (Los Angeles, Cal./Viewpoint) will look to assist the Nighthawks back court with his strong assist play. Talamantes currently leads the team in total assists with 651.

The game will be played at Newbury College Thursday (Mar. 3) at 7:00 p.m.
