REGIS COLLEGE FALL TO ENDICOTT IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Beverly, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball got a much needed win on Thursday night as the Gulls snapped a four-match losing streak after defeating NECVA New England opponent Regis College 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-13). 

Endicott (7-8, 4-2 NECVA NE) sported a .328 hit percentage as a team as 12 different players recorded kills against the Pride (0-8, 0-6 NECVA NE).

Senior David Olson (Chelmsford, Mass.) and sophomore Matt Devendorf (Glastonbury, Conn.) each recorded four kills in the match with five other players tallying three kills in the win.  Setter Carter Roche (Clifton Park, N.Y.) came off the bench to dish out 16 assists after relievingJeremy Schlosser (Emmaus, Pa.) who had 12 assists in the first set of the match. 

Roche was also effective on the serve with eight aces.

Regis' leading attacker, freshman outside hitter Drew Wilder (Brockton, Mass.), had four kills to lead the Pride.  Wilder also added three digs and an ace.  Freshman Stefan Todorovic (Los Angeles, Calif.) led all players with six digs. 

The Pride's setter Andrew Carroll (Natick, Mass.) had seven set assists.

On defense for the Gulls, freshman Brandon Chadwick (Chelmsford, Mass.) and sophomore Kevin Duggan (Glastonbury, Conn.) combined for two block assists each.  Zeke Kubisch (Bethlehem, N.Y.) and Joshua Bruno (Andover, Mass.) each added a block assist as well.

Endicott looks to improve their NECVA divisional standing with another home match tomorrow night at 7:00 pm against Daniel Webster.  Regis hosts Mount Ida and Newbury this Saturday, February 19th in a tri-match starting at 11:00 am
