REGIS COLLEGE FALLS TO WENTWORTH IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

WESTON, Mass.—Chase Meyers  (Austin, Texas/Austin) and Ross Burdett (Needham, Mass./Needham) each posted five kills to lead Wentworth to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-18) victory over Regis College (0-5) Wednesday.

Wentworth (10-5) had 26 total kills. Dan Mulvey (Halifax, Mass./Silver Lake Regional) contributed four kills, and had two service aces. Lowell Jesmer (Rochester, NY/McQuaid Jesuit) had a team-high three service aces. Teammate Tyler Moriarty (Wilbraham, Mass./Minnechaug Regional) had 19 assists in the game.

From the first set Wentworth held an advantage. Regis' Stefan Todorvic (Los Angeles, Calif.) had a team-high five kills, while teammates Christopher Tran (Qunicy, Mass.), Dan Berdichevsky (Wayland, Mass.), and Drew Wilder (Brockton, Mass.) each contributed four kills.

Andrew Carroll (Natick, Mass.) had 13 assists for the Pride, and seven digs. James Guaragna (Quincy, Mass.) had a team-high nine digs. Wentworth forced Regis College to commit 12 errors in the game, while Wentworth had jut seven.
