WESTON, Mass. – Prior to the April 12 home match against Norwich University, members of the men's tennis team were recognized for their significant contributions to the Pride program.

Andrew Bienvenu (Baton Rouge, La.) made an immediate impact for the Pride during the 2021-22 season. He was named GNAC Player of the Year, First Team All-GNAC in singles, and Second Team All-GNAC in doubles after completing a perfect 15-0 singles season, the most single-season victories without a loss in program history. Bienvenu also posted a 14-2 record in doubles, winning all four doubles sets in conference play. He is a three-time GNAC Player of the Week, honored on March 14, April 4, and April 18. He won three singles contests in three sets, rallying back from losing the first set on all three occasions. He earned his bachelor's degree from LSU and is pursuing his master's degree in counseling.

Sebastian Torres (San Juan, Puerto Rico) was voted First Team All-GNAC in singles this past season after rolling to a 12-3 overall record, including a perfect 4-0 mark in GNAC regular season play. He concluded his collegiate playing career with a total of 19 singles victories and 25 doubles wins. He led the Pride with 11 doubles victories in 2018-19, including five straight doubles wins in the fall. A two-time Academic All-GNAC honoree, he graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in marketing.

Already with his bachelor's degree in sport management, he completed his master's degree in strategic sports communication.
