Regis Tennis Teams Announce Schedule Changes

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's and women's tennis teams have finalized schedule changes that affect both programs over the next week.

For the men's tennis team, due to court conditions at Clark University, the dual match between the Pride and the Cougars scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, has been postponed. The two teams are expected to set a new date for the contest soon.

In addition, with the forecast calling for cold temperatures and high winds Saturday, March 23, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference match between Regis and Eastern Nazarene in Quincy, Mass., has been postponed. The Pride will now travel to face the Lions Tuesday, April 2, for a 3:30 p.m. start time.

The women's tennis team is also affected by this weekend's forecast of precipitation. The match between the Pride and the Emerson Lions has been moved from Friday, March 22, to Saturday, March 23, starting at 11:30 a.m. In addition, the site has been changed to the Winchester Indoor Tennis Center.

Finally, the start time for the women's tennis contest between Regis and Wentworth next Wednesday, March 27, has been moved up to 4 p.m.
